Giving blogging a try, for the 2nd time

This is my 2nd try at the blogosphere, but my 1st try at a mostly sports/news blog, rather than a personal one, and my first try in about 5 years. But really, that's irrelevant, and not why you're reading this.


Basics to get out of the way before I get started:
Hometown: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Current City: Boston, MA
Favorite Teams: Boston University (alma mater), University of Michigan (obvious reasons), the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, & the New England Patriots.
Favorite Sports: women's lacrosse, college basketball, baseball, college football

I enjoy working in athletics as well as watching them.
I hope to eventually work in sports somewhere doing something (specific, I know), and have done a bunch of random jobs in and around sports.
I also have some knowledge of sports medicine as I was convinced I wanted to do that for about 10 years, including 2 years of college, so I'll try and check in when a big injury happens and explain it better if I can...

So that intro got a bit longer than I intended, but hopefully the entries following are entertaining, inquisitive, debate-provoking, and if nothing else, interesting.
